Our history

Deepdale was established in 1994, and operated out of leased premises for ten years. In 2003 Deepdale purchased its current premises in Queens Meadow and further extended both shop floor and office capacity with the addition of a purpose built automated unitised line which was opened in early 2009.

Our market position

Deepdale has established itself amongst the top tier of UK Façade contractors with a proven track record of successfully completing large, multi product facades to programme and budget. It has either preferred or approved status for the leading contractors in the UK such as Laing O’Rourke, Bovis, Skanska, AMEC, Carillion, MACE, and Morgan Ashurst, as well as working direct for such well established developers such as the Berkeley Group, Bellway Homes, Persimmon, Dandara, United House, and Barratt Homes.

Working with us

DBS embraces a supply chain partnering approach that enables all stakeholders, whether clients, suppliers or staff to fully participate in the organisation and execution of a project. Deepdale has an inclusive, non adversarial approach to resolving problems and encourages an open and honest, blame free culture.

DBS regularly reviews its performance and strives to continuously improve all facets of its business.

Project led engagement

All of DBS’s work is project specific, generally involving a powerful combination of proven systems combined with a bespoke application of that system to provide its clients with a peace of mind not offered by alternative options. The business is project lead, and controls its processes using a project management team that utilises critical path analysis to determine priorities. This allows it to balance the need for lean and efficient production with the agility to handle changes where required.

The Company is engaged in a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with Teesside University, ranked in the top twenty universities in the world in this field, to develop 5D computer simulations of project programmes, identifying the most time and cost effective methods of working on site.

Deepdale has executed projects with an individual value in excess of £5 million, and typically run a relatively small number of large projects each year.
